Cognos
Cognos employs over 3,600 people. Approximately 1500 of them are frequent fliers producing MS Powerpoint presentations.
They and their notebooks fly around the globe, and use MS Powerpoint presentations to sell Cognos invoices to customers, usually to small guys from big companies, who don't care to spent some mega buck (it is not their megabuck, so why care).
Another 1500 Cognos employees produce invoices.
10 Cognos programmers use PLA technologies like Apache Axis and Tomcat to deliver what frequent fliers promised and invoice makers charged.
Cognos sponsorship program includes important things like golf tournaments. Apache is not worth even small donation.
Do you still wonder that Cognos and similar parasitic companies are on PLA hate list?
